Pinecone characters

December 7, 2018

Meet Rudolph the red-nosed Reindeer!

We collect so much from our nature walks and the garden, and with the windfalls that are taking place today (10th December!)  there's really no excuse not to get creative with what we find as well!

What you need

Pinecones, twigs, leaves and a berry make this little festive friend.

We added two goggle eyes for a more comedic effect. But you could have used different coloured berries or balls of mud!

What to do

Assemble it all together in your outdoor Muddy Kitchen and hey presto!

Now play!

And/or make another friend to keep Rudolph company!

What we learn

Practise fine motor skills

Explore different materials and textures

Develop our communication and vocabulary

Use our imaginations!
